Hi everyone, I want to thank everyone who came to our monthly dance at the Moose in North Reading, July 26th. We had a great crowd dancing all night. It's always a worry in the summer months wondering what kind of a crowd will be there. But once again it was awesome. I taught a nice easy dance, Feel Good Rumba. I think everyone realizes the good natured fun that goes on between Marie and myself. Well after the June dance when I played that practical joke on her with her car, she started planning her revenge. She got it Saturday night when she told everyone the dance was cancelled and even had a sign to the effect. She went one step further when I started teaching she raised her hand and everyone turned their backs to me. It was awesome. This is what it's all about, people having fun and enjoying themselves. Good job Marie, but remember, it's my turn now!!!!! I feel blessed to be a part of the dance community in our area. I have never met such a great bunch of people, dancers, and instructors in my life. There are times when I'm planning the different parties and coming up with various items to make it interesting and not just another dance, that I say to myself, It's time to stop and close down. But then the party happens, and Marie does her thing, people are having fun and I get emails telling me how much fun they had, and I realize, how can I give this all up. It's the greatest thing in the world. All the hard work and preparation is worth it, seeing all the happy people on the dance floor. Thank you all for your loyalty and patronage over the years, and hopefully we will continue for years to come. Someone slap me silly the next time I think about stopping. TEWKSBURY HAPPENINGS We had a great time this past week in Tewksbury. Some of the dances we taught were, FEED THE FETISH, FEEL GOOD RUMBA, ROLLIN' WITH THE FLOW, and AM I. Some were easy and some were a little hard. We are looking forward to Tuesday night when we start our new beginner program. The phone has been ringing off the hook with people asking for info. If you know anyone who wants to start from the beginning let them know about this new class and have them call us at 877-92-DANCE. I will be reviewing all the dances next week in Tewksbury and also teaching a cute new dance called Cheeky Cha. Hope to see you all there. NECDC DANCE Our next dance will be on August 9th, at the Dom Polski hall in Lowell. We had a great turnout last month and look forward to seeing you all on the dance floor this month.
